Japanese Asagao - Q1152
Q1152, is an Ipomoea Purpurea which seeds are from Japan Kyushu University. The petit purple speckled white flowers do melt my heart. This morning glory is having green variegated leaves which make it different from other morning glory. However, it is a poor seed maker due to the extreme tropical climate of my country.

1st Bonsai Morning Glory
I planted my first bonsai yellow leaves morning glory last year after I visited the Kyoto Asagao Exhibition in July 2012. I had pruned the morning glory, Melody (Music) of Mountain Stream, 溪流の調, with the basic method. It was seed which I brought back from Kyoto. This was one of my favorite morning glory in year 2012.
